Amateur Radio Operators are teaming up with BLUE STAR MOTHERS OF AMERICA, INC. OKLAHOMA DEPARTMENT to support our troops.

Amateur radio operators know that, along with becoming a licensed amateur
radio operator, comes the duty to serve the public in times of need. Our
troops do not need your support with communication, but they truly need your
support. No matter what your view is on the current world events, we as
Americans need to support our men and woman serving our nation around the
world.

All amateur radio operators are invited to donate the contents of FREEDOM
BOXES (either some or all items -- see list below) or donate funds that are
used to mail the Freedom Boxes to our troops overseas. Our military does a
great job of providing for our service members. They are the best equipped
and trained military in the world. Yet when you are far away from home, one
Freedom Box arriving at your unit with a few wonderful items from home,
makes life just a little easier and helps to make your day better. Freedom
Boxes also remind you that you are not forgotten and the folks back home
appreciate the sacrifice that you are making for our country.

Bring your donations to the Tulsa Repeater Organization's (TRO) September
meeting, which will be Tuesday September 28, 2004. The meetings start at
7:30 p.m.. TRO holds our meetings at Ryan's Family Steak House, 10934 E.
