Technically, it is not illegal to modify any radio to transmit on any=20
frequency, but it most certainly *is* illegal to use it to transmit on any=
=20
frequency for which it has not been type accepted.

That aside, any EM who advocates this is begging for lots of trouble.  We=20
need to know who it is, so we can set them straight regardless of how=20
well-intentioned they might be.
