Jus read your e-mail reference JOTA.  I have a ham station located at our 
Salvation Army  here in Lawton.  Each  year we have the Lawton Fort Sill scouts 
at  the Salvation Army to operate amateur radio. We will
have the Sal station operating and 3 to 4  mobile stations operating in the 
parking lot.  Each station operates on different bands allowing the scouts to 
talk to other scouts around the country.  We rotate each group from one vehicle 
to another which allows them to talk different states and DX.  Soft drinks 
and snacks is provided for the scouts.  Fort Sill will have adult leaders with 
the scouts. (They enjoy hearing  contacts the scouts are making state side and 
DX.)  I will have code oscillators with
hand keys and code charts that they really enjoy learning to send code.
( I understand the code requirement is being dropped as a requirement)
They will still enjoy learning  using the code keys.  73, Frank, AB5J
