[ARRL-OK] Disaster Conference 2003

The AR-OK Salvation Army Disaster Conference to be held near Tahlequah, OK is 
just hours away from starting.  The conference will be underway on Wednesday 
morning with many expected to arrive on Tuesday evening.  

We expect a wonderful time of learning, fellowship and improved capability to 
provide public service.  Those who can attend the conference will benefit 
from the experience. But just as important those who are at home can also 
benefit themselves and the OK Section.  This can be achieved by listening up 
on the OK Traffic & Weather net on 3900 at 6 pm Wednesday.  We hope to run 
traffic on that net and you may be called upon to help with the traffic.  
Activity may be on other nets, as well, so please be listening up. 

You are welcome to come on and join in the conference.  Registration can be 
completed on site; so just come on!  And, you are welcome to attend what you 
can of the sessions.  Talk in is 147.240
