Why do you guys make life so hard?

All you have to do is call Ten-Tec and they'll send you the stuff to repair
the dial cord immediately.  I got mine in about 5 days and I live in
Germany!

As I understand it TT service uses a product called DeoxIT from Caig Labs
for 
switch cleaning. Caig should have a list of distributors on their website 
(some electronics supply outfits in larger cities carry it) or a way to
order 
direct from Caig. I'd suggest the liquid rather than the aerosol version as 
my experience is the spray can is a bit hard to control and thus messy.
