One of my friends is looking for a reasonably-priced pre-owned lowband rig in working condition, and also a vertical antenna that will work for at least 15 to 40 meters.
Either a 12 volt or 120 VAC rig will do the trick.  
He is on a fixed income.  
If anybody knows of functioning equipment of this sort that is available to a nice home, please call me
