Bob,
     Fred is doing better as far as the surgery to remove part of his colon.  We are now hoping they can scope his lung Monday to find out why he is coughing up blood. He has been doing this for over 2 months.  They have treated him for pneumonia.  They have tried 2 times to do the scope this week and had to postpone the procedure.   One time his hemoglobin was to low, so they gave him to more units of blood. The next time his blood was to thin so he has had 2 units of plasma on Wednesday and 2 units on Thursday and a shot of vitamin K.   As you can imagine, he is a little concerned about what they might find.   Just keep him in your prayers.  Don't be upset if he is not real talkative at this time.   
      I will try to keep you posted about  what is happening, and you can let the others know.  Thank you for your prayers and concern.
