UHF ANTENNA NEEDED

We are in the final phase of getting our UHF single-sited repeater on the air, but have encountered a problem:
We are presently using a Diamond brand dual-band ham antenna
The repeater transmits extremely well, but receive coverage is very poor
The experts are telling us that an amateur grade dual band antenna can generate garbage when it is being used to transmit and receive at the same time, adversely impacting receiver performance.

I am hoping to find someone who is willing to donate or sell a business-grade UHF antenna which has been commercially modified at the factory for use in the amateur 440 band

Alternatively, if you know anyone who may be willing to donate or sell a monoband amateur grade UHF antenna that is non-directional, vertical, and has awesome gain, please contact me.
