[AReU] AREU Meeting Next Tuesday

Hi Everyone,

Well, believe it or not a month has passed and it's time for
another AReU meeting!

Next Tuesday, Dec 5th is the AReU meeting.

Ron, KA4INM, will be doing a presentation on "something".  I
talked to Ron and he wasn't exactly sure but what ever he picks
I'm sure it will be educational and enlightening.  

We discussed trying to cover a little on testing some of these
mobile and small base vertical antennas for performance.  I will
be bringing an antenna analyzer (MFJ 259B) and giving a "brief"
presentation on how "I" use it.  If anyone else has an MFJ 269B,
(the UHF model) please bring it.  We could use something that
can get into the UHF range to look at some of the antennas that
are above the 150MHz range.

Also, if anyone has any other items of interest, please bring
them along and tell us about them.  I'm sure some of us picked
up some rare treasures over the weekend at the Tampa Hamfest. 
We all gain from each others experiences.

So, mark you calendar for the last AReU meeting of 2006 on
Tuesday Dec 5th at 7:30pm.
