Some time ago, a local QRP op gave me an SMK-1.

It is about the size of a pack of cigarettes cut in half.

It is a 40 meter transceiver, has three knobs on the front and is powered by flashlight
batteries.

Output is 350 mW.

I have worked stations all up and down the west coast with it, and once worked a marine
mobile station just off the Texas coast, SMK-1 to SMK-1

The receiver is very quiet and tunable over a small range.

Transmitter is crystal controlled but has XIT

I also have two BC-221-AKs here, each with original manual. They work just fine.
