Maybe warm air would soften the plate a little and let it relax flat?
Restoring old radios, I've run into molded "plastic" items that were curled or warped, but as I looked closer I realized they had also been shrinking. I think the material may have lost some of the more volatile ingredient(s) and it was in a sense "drying up", and that was at least part of the reason for the misshapen condition. I've not found any way to make those better.

I have a data plate that is
warping/shrinking up that if possible without damaging it I would like to
flatten out. It looks to be fibrous and not plastic.
I'm sure this question has come up before. Unless someone has successfully
found a way to do this...I'm maybe leaning more to just leave it as is.
It's from a Navy AMA radio that was going to be used in a amphibious glider
but the program was scrapped. It's similar to the BC-721 that were used in
the gliders on D-Day.
Tnx

I had some large circular dial plates that sound like they were the same material. I could flatten them after hot water soaking but they always curled back up before long, no matter how long I kept them under weights to flatten them.
