[ARC5] Data plate warping fix ?

I had some large circular dial plates that sound like they were the same material. I could flatten them after hot water soaking but they always curled back up before long, no matter how long I kept them under weights to flatten them.

I'm sure this question has come up before. Unless someone has successfully found a way to do this...I'm maybe leaning more to just leave it as is. It's from a Navy AMA radio that was going to be used in a amphibious glider but the program was scrapped. It's similar to the BC-721 that were used in the gliders on D-Day.
