[ARC5] Added detail re 1700kc xtal ask

Be aware that when designers selected IFs in the range 1600-1700 there were no US radio stations in operation there.  It was after the days of the AM "police band" there and before the expansion of the broadcast band.
Today there are relatively high power AM broadcast stations in that range and you might find that you hear them blowing through the receiver (if they are strong enough, depending on location and power level (I think most are 10 kW non-D day) or skywave propagation at night.  The receiving antenna in use might make a difference as well - if it responds well at MF the problem is more likely.   

This is much like what can happen with a BC-348 receiver when you have a local station on 910 or 920 kHz (IF is 915 kHz if memory serves).  What I definitely remember is hearing my own station WSBA AM-910  (untunably) on my BC-348 when I lived in Pennsylvania.   I put it back in storage...
