Yes. I have. Also, I believe Dave Stinson has. I will have to dig out my notes on it since I have not done it in awhile.And, yes, the process slows down as it proceeds.I purposely bought quite a few crystals in the high 6 Mhz range for this purpose.What I wanted was a series of 40 meter crystals 5 kHz apart covering the CW section of the band, then later, planned to split the difference with another series.I never did find enough high-3 Mhz crystals to attempt the same thing for 80.So far, life has gotten in the way of that project, of course.I started it and made two crystals for 40, then had to set it aside.I'll find my notes and will report here as soon as I can.Ken W7EKBSent via the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone
