Tim, that reminds me. Besides the copper tape i still have, i also have a glass plate that i intended for a crystal 
regrinding project. I'm thinking i can measure the capacitance between copper tape on each side. I should do 
this. I am intrigued that this actually allowed SWL reception, altho of course the small capacity rules that the 
antenna impedance must be high. As for car windows, the most likely candidate, the rear window, usually has
in-glass wiring for defrost. ( There was one car radio, the Carver TX-9, that used this rear window defrost wiring
for one antenna for space - diversity FM reception. Unfortunately, Eton, a usually reliable maker, really fouled 
up the cassette drive mechanics, and Carver recalled all they had sold. ) ( These Carver car radios showed up 
years later at a Bellevue, WA electronics store, Vetco. )
