The Consolan station TUK , on Nantucket island, was always a power house on the east coast.

Here is an article in Radio Electronics about Consolan in the Match 1963 issue Radio Electronics Magazine. They modified a Setchell Carson 524 to use as a receiver. It starts on page 55
