Please let us know what you learn. I have a couple of very
good friends who are cancer survivors, one twice. It changes your
life and affects everyone around you. It is certainly possible to
get a false positive and they should always be retested. Second
opinion is vital. My almost wife was told, and I was told, she
was going to die. She didn't because there was a new procedure.
It saved her. One result of surviving cancer is that you forever
after watch your back. My friend is very courageous and strong. I
think she survived mostly because she decided she was going to.
She just didn't let it happen and pursued the medicine until she
found the specialist at U of C who did the procedure.
Do not give up, persevere. Don't get scared into not
following up everything out there.
