Yes we need an ARB and anything associated with it. The key would be great too.
The aircraft is being restored in New Smyrna beach Florida at a shop called American Aero. The aircraft will be a flyer and will go to shows and tour around the country so it will be seen by a lot of people.
I see you are from Connecticut. This aircraft is owned by a museum in Massachusetts called the American Heritage Museum.

I also have a black wrinkle Navy “explosion proof” straight key, which I assume would have been used on large aircraft such as the PBY.
Where is the plane undergoing restoration and where will it be located afterwards?
Will it be flying to air shows and other venues?

Would really enjoy passing the above on for the PBY project. My first airplane ride was in a PBY, although I was very very young, Iinfact I was not born yet! My mother when she was pregnant with me, worked at Remmert-Werner Aircraft Company at Lindbergh Field in St. Louis MO. At the time back in 1952, they were converting large military aircraft into executive aircraft. They did a DC-3 for Arthur Godfrey , who was a pilot and also a ham. They also did PBY conversions, and Mom and I went up for a check ride in of them, most likely in the spring, because I was told that there was extensive flooding on the Mississippi at the time.
Also have a friend whose dad was a pilot in the Black Cat Squadron.

This aircraft, BuNo 2459, was originally built as a PBY-5 without retractable wheels but was modified to a PBY-5A amphibious version during the war. She went on to sink three U boats and has an amazing history. She is now back in the US and is being brought back to a stock configuration which is very rare amongst PBY’s these days. She will be a flier too where people will be able to see her and her authentic interior.
The big items needed are the GO-9 and ATB but the little stuff is needed too. As much as we can find to make her as complete as possible. Photo of the radio compartment is attached.
