There is absolutely no need for any apology, as there's no harm done.
I think it was an interesting post. My spare-parts obsession would have me want this if it was local,
as another has written, but for the $50+, I think I can find what I need closer, and I may even have 
a dirty dog to use for spares. 
I have one 348 with a totally new front panel, set for rack mounting. What a lot of work. 
Years ago, maybe 30+, I saw at a hamfest a very much redone 348. It actually took me near a minute
to recognize what it was built from. It was actually a darn good job. I should have bought it, the work
was so well done and the overall appearance was truly unique.
