Soon as I can get it done, I'll include information specific to
using 5763. You'll need to make bias changes and the 9-pin
sockets will need to be trimmed of the excess metal
outside of the mounting nuts, else they won't fit through
the "holding rings" used for the base of the original tubes.
Also- I put a .01 uFd cap across the filament pins so
that both ends- the one to which the cathode was
connected and the other one- are at the same RF potential.
We need to discuss this issue of the cathodes of the tubes
being 6, 12 or 24 VDC above ground because of the
5763/6AQ5 cathodes being connected to one filament pin.
That should be a bias issue, but we'll talk about that
after I've got some more data compiled.
