[ARC5] BC-AO-430 transmitter

 I was curious as to why the 6AQ5 was better , so I looked up the datasheets.
I'm no tube expert, but the only  difference is higher plate voltage and plate dissipation on the 5763 .The 5763 was designed specifically for class C service, while the 6AQ5 appears to be more versatile. I don't know why.
Could it be that the bias requirements of the 6AQ5 more closely match those of the original tubes?I always thought of it as an "audio output" tube, not an RF tube, but it does have reasonable low capacitance to work in the HF region.
