[ARC5] Somebody is Still Building 832's?

5894! I forgot about those... When I was in Junior High my cousin and I
rode our bicycles over to the Amperex factory in Hicksville NY. We
introduced ourselves to the receptionist who led us to a sales rep. We
were looking for some "used" 811A's to build CB Linears (so I
heard...ahem...), from the 1961 ARRL Handbook design... He gave us a couple
of 5894 sample tubes (which we couldn't figure out how to insert into an
811 Pi Network circuit ! haha.) Somehow managed not to kill ourselves in
the process. Also, somehow managed not to discover what happens when you
try to shorten the plate pins for some reason!
