Yes. VHF.
Also used in the AN/ARC-4 and AN/ARC-5 VHF. Most of the T-23's that I've
had actually had 832A's. Replaced by much later the 5894. And don't try to
shorten the plate pins on a 5894 with a pair of dikes.
