Used with the fixed antenna....ohhhhh.....
That means, useless for communications too. 
A 30 foot fixed antenna on 500 kHz would be like 4 foot on 80 meters.
Ohhhh.....not good....
On 1000 kHz, like 8 foot on 80 meters. Do-able, but why ???
