Hi Clare - I like your and your son's thinking! ... Maybe another factor
of 3 involved in very rough estimates? 3 Companies per Battalion, 3
Battalions per Regiment.......
I dunno, I'm just a Navy puke.... ;o)
A truly monumental effort by any measure...
