Also many thanks. I see that I must revise my PPT deck on squad radios that I deliver to local Ham venues to show the correct figure of 206,000+ SCR-536s produced in WW2. Somewhere I had read this figure was 60,000.

The Chief of Military History published a procurement and statistics document in 1952 detailing WWII procurements for the US Army. It shows 206,753 SCR-536 radio sets procured from 1940-1945 inclusive...It did not detail the manufacturer(s).
