[ARC5] BC-611 production numbers

Hi All,

I've been looking at some BC-611s and the serial numbers are interesting.
All F models, from Galvin and Electrical Research Labs.  Isee a Galvin S/N
of 28,611 and an ERL of 36020.  If those even reflect the total number oa
all models built by each company that's over 60,000, a really huge
quantity.  Every Mil radio collector should have a closet full.

Any thoughts?
