Hi,
I’m running an ARC R-13B (108-135 KC) receiver and a C-1254A control unit. It works great on local air traffic. Ken Gordon gave me a short flex cable (18”) to tie the two together but unfortunately the cable spline is different, there must have more than one standard. I just use a knob on the front of the R-13B to tune with. The only use problem I encounter is the nearby ASOS (weather at Deer Park) is at 135.175 KC, just above my tuning range. One of these days I’ll address this issue. I use a LED readout which inductive couples to the local oscillator to set listening frequency.
