Hi Guys- Much like Jeep, I put together a T-13 / R-19 setup from swap meet
finds and a pair of shock mounts and an RX panel given to me by a friend
(from a ham-swap discard pile). I had a long-ish spline cable from Fair
Radio (40 years ago purchase). With a DIY TX control panel and initially a
DIY "solid state dynamotor" I got it together and working. The Type 12
works great, sounds better and I think under appreciated...Even if just to
monitor the local aircraft comms. We occasionally run an AM net on 144.450
mc with another T-12 and a couple of USMC MAW's.
