Off topic but!!  The only automobile engine I'm aware of that was able to stand up to a 24/7 max rpm load was the venerable Ford 427 high riser side oiler that whopped the Italian's at Lemans.  Great engine and nearly bullet proof.  Just a good old fashioned well built Detroit Push Rod V8.

I pulled into a real truck stop and struck up a conversation with the driver of a Peterbuilt pullong an extra heavy load. Turned out he'd owned the thing since new and in all that time had replaced only the oil pump. 

"Yep a darn good truck. It JUST went out of warrantee. ONE MILLION MILES!"

Hooo boy, we really do know how to make those things.
