That is true, to a certain extent. Inflation has reduced the value of our dollar by quite a bit. If
you take the prices of things from, say, 1960, and multiply by 20, you will get around what it
would cost you in today's dollars. That mint $6.00 ARC-5 would cost you around $120.00
today, and that would be reasonable. If I was in the market for a mint ARC-5 receiver or
transmitter, I wouldn't hesitate to pay around that for one.
However, $1600.00 for a pretty well shot ARC-2 is NOT reasonable by any stretch of the
imagination.

Oh, I most certainly agree with this!!!

Well, I have two RBCs (and two RBAs) and would LOVE to have an RBB, but we (you and I)
are too far apart to do any trading at this point. Shipping would be too much.
I would also like to get at least one RBA/RBB/RBC power supply some day.
At the moment, what I really need are two "fiducials" for my two BC-312/342 receivers. Both
are missing, and as Robert Downs mentioned to me, apparently, there are more than one
kind. I'll have to do some more research, I guess.
Sigh....so many projects, so little time....left.
