Subject: Re: [ARC5] beginning to clear out a few things
I will be 87 years old on Sunday and as my family has no interest in any of my various collections, it is time to begin to clear some things out. I am in good health, but these days, who knows?
Here is my current inventory:
three receivers with the "M in a circle" denoting they were once in the Aircraft Radio Corp "morgue:"
R-21/ARC-5 receiver, 3-6 mc
ARA-2 receiver, .52 - 1.5 mc, type 46181
R-25/ARC-5 receiver, 1.5-3 mc
the remainder do not have the "M" stamp:
R-1021/ARN-30D receiver, 190 channels, 108-135 mc
in MT7/ARR-2 single receiver rack with made-up cable and control head
- was working when last tested some years ago
R-15 receiver, 108-135 mc
R-25/ARC-5 receiver, .52-1.5 mc
R-13 receiver, 108-135 mc, with dial
R-148/ARC-5X receiver, 1.9-.55 mc, 14 volts, with MT-411/ARC-5X single receiver rack
single receiver rack, MT-7A/ARR-2 (un-hacked except one of the phone jacks is missing)
3-receiver control head, type CBY 23251, complete
These are all in excellent condition
3-receiver control head, type CBY 23251, less cranks and dials
also several dynamotors, 14 and 28 volts, AC power supplies, mscl tools, etc.
I plan to put these, one by one, on E-Bay, but wanted to offer them to this list first. I will be taking numerous photos. Anyone interested can contact me at gewhite122 at gmail.com <mailto:gewhite122 at gmail.com> Anyone who might want to pick anything up in person I could meet them either here in Deltaville or in Alexandria or Williamsburg, Virginia
