[ARC5] re-key Cannon connectors ?

I have several of the Cannon connectors with the pin pattern used in ARB, ATB, TCS and maybe others.
But - the " key " is in different locations. I took one apart to see if I could rekey it, but I don't see a way 
to do this. The insert is somehow friction fit inside the connector shell, and I see no practical way to 
rotate the insert. Your verdict ?
