[ARC5] BC-348R - fair price?

Well, I stand by my original post regarding value/cost in that the restored BC-348 receivers that go out of here are ready to install in (typically) an ARC-8 setup, with the ART-13.  And to Ben, KD5BYB, I find that the "R" model is arguably the most common one that I personally see, so keep a lookout. Most of those on Ebay with the astro-prices are ones I would not touch. I avoid the J, N, and Q models only because the bandswitch linking setup is infinitely more troublesome than the others, especially during dis- and re-assembly.  Additionally, recap of the "other" models is also a bit easier.  And, don't forget the caps associated with the BFO and Xtal filter and inside each "module"... they go bad too.  Now, if anyone needs a particular part for these radios, I have, for better or worse, cannibalized a number of genuine basket-cases.  I have a larder of parts and might be able to assist someone.
