Yes, selling on Ebay is real work, it's not just holding your hand out and having money put in it.
Packing these large heavy items is work. Probably my least favorite chore, altho I'm good at it. 
But if you want to get top dollar, that's the only way to go. I sold besides maybe 3 - 4 BC-348,
a couple GRC-9. Now I sort of regret that, but not fully; I didn't get robbed, I sold these and 
got money, but now I feel I shorted myself.
I'll tell you something that really WILL steer you to do the work and sell on Ebay: that's when
you sell something at a hamfest, and later see it cleaned up and resold there for more money;
or when you sell something to an acquaintance ( something short of being a full "friend" )  for 
a "considerate price" and you figure out later it was resold for more money on Ebay.  Not gonna
do that again !
