Ya know, David, that AVT-112 transmitter you "warned" us about on EvilBay?  I bought it. 
Needs the front panel repainted.

I seem to remember that the AVT-112 transmitter I gave to a Novice back in about 1960 or 
so was painted a sort of gun-metal blue gray color.

Does anyone here know what that color actuall was?

BTW, that Novice went on to get an EE degree and went to work for Tektronix in Oregon. 
Now retired.
