Feeling good enough to go digging in "The Cave."
Here is my working RCA Light Aircraft set, still needs cosmetic work:

The correct RCA mike and phones, just for kicks:

The front of the AVA-120 Antenna Reel:

You pull the knob out toward you and turn. This lifts the
locking pin visible in the slot under the knob. There is
a circle of holes behind the reel that engage the locking
pin to hold the reel.
Rear view of the reel:

The top of the green brackets mount the reel to
the aircraft frame. You can see the circle of locking holes.
the center "upset" shaft is the reel axle.
The wire on the reel (#18 stranded Copperweld) and the
input fitting for the Fairlead:

Note the screw on the fitting, which provides a contact
point for the transmitter.
I have the "egg" weight somewhere, but not the rest
of the fairlead.

The mounting base for the antenna reel is 6 1/8 in. square.
The reel diameter is 5 1/2 in.
The inside distance between discs that hold the wire is 3/4 inch.
The disc is made of hard black plastic or Bakelite with
aluminium posts holding it together.
From the outside of the reel to the center of the aluminium posts
is 1 inch.
If anyone needs other measurements or photos, just
let me know.
