Your email only arrived down here in Australia today the 10th of July - that puts a whole new meaning to 'snail mail'.

I hope you're well and able to read this and that your family have all recovered. We're in our second wave of isolation but all well so far.

Obligatory BA content:

I spent some time in lockdown restoring a short wave/broadcast radio made down here in 1947 by Philips under the Mullard brand. It had an 'interesting' antenna connection through a rather flimsy 73 year old capacitor to one side of the mains,  so that the mains wiring eventually leading to a pole outside would constitute a long wire antenna. There are certainly some gotchas in these old relics!
