You are correct, Hans. It's a solid piece of steel with a #8x32 flat
head screw and washer holding it on to the chassis.
I'll make a fabrication sketch of the actual part tomorrow - the
machining is trivial on a good lathe, although there are no metric
dimensions. Not even any safety wire holes to drill!
