[ARC5] Command set BFO coil - is it affected by the can filler (beeswax?)

I have seen some comments about the effects of long-term exposure to the
filler material (bees wax?) in the capacitor cans in the Command sets (e.g.
BC-453 et al).
I.E. that the filler interacts with the can material (over very long time
periods) to create mildly corrosive mixture which is part of the reason why
the capacitors in the cans fail (although I frankly also feel that the caps
also fail just because they are old!!).
My question: is the BFO coil similarly exposed to the same goop and does
that also lead to failures?
