The problem with the 1W deal is that is 'ERP' (Effective Radiated Power if
I have that right) and, due to large antenna inefficiencies ('cuse any
reasonable antenna is small'ish and you need some form of matching network
which is itself not very efficient), you need a LOT of RF power to get that
1W ERP (i.e. 100's of watts). Quite a bit written on the subject so
recommend a web search.
