Hi Robert:

The Energizer Lithium batteries are available in AAA, AA & 9V sizes.
These have a shelf life of 20 (Twenty) years and they work in colder temperatures than Alkaline cells.
I would not expect to ever see one of these leak.
PS They also have a higher watt hour capacity than other cells the same size.  The only down size is a slightly higher 
cost, but that's trivial when the benefits are considered, i.e. these are a great buy.

 From now on I will be buying things that use this size over other battery sizes.  Here is some info on flashlights for
