Well, I hooked the HP "AC Power Supply" into the power supply that I originally built for my ARC-114 and ARC-116, right at the point where the DC would connect from the transformer and full wave bridge.

Regulated voltage output was right where it should be, at 28VDC. I then plugged in my ARC-116 and it worked fine. A signal generator on 222.5 MHZ AM came right in, loud and clear. On transmit it seems that RF power output is normal and there is no voltage drop from the power supply.

Admittedly given that it is a UHF transceiver that I hear no noise from the power supply is not unexpected and I have not tried to listen on a receiver yet. I'll try the ARC-114 next.
