Thank you for that suggestion John. Perhaps using a toaster to warm the
tubing would help it slide onto the shaft, wait for it to cool, then
rotate. I'll keep this in mind. On taking another look, I've found that the
turret holes are all the same size, so if the socket fits one it should fit
all. The problem is that the gear teeth are coarse enough to allow a
misalignment of some slugs when one or two are properly aligned. The
original W.E. tool was presumably thin enough to cope, but my socket is too
large in the shank. A last resort solution might be to adjust the ones that
the socket fits, then rotate the turret by hand a fraction to permit
adjusting the others, taking care not to step the turret off that band's
contacts.
