Micamold paper caps can look exactly like oblong, rectangular mica caps, 
and have various values. 

As far as I am concerned, those pieces of crap are, possibly, the worst small 
fixed-value capacitors I have ever run across.

In a recent restoration of an NC-57, exactly ONE of the 15 or so of those in 
that receiver was not so leaky as to be almost a dead-short. All the rest were.

If that BC-348 has any of those junky pieces of garbage in it, get them ALL 
out asap and before you fire it up.
