Definitely #2 for me, which always requires a reassessment of what
else is waiting in line to be done.

These days anything in #1 is reserved for easier, less time consuming
projects due to other commitments. Think 'low hanging fruit', like
cleaning up a rig, repairing it electrically and getting it on the air
vs. doing a complete tear down and cosmetic restoration.

If I had fewer projects and more time, it would be a lot easier to
focus on #1 and do it all the first time around.

It would definitely get saved, though - if for no other reason than to
delay its demise in hopes of getting to it or finding someone else who
can.
