What’s choice number 5?
In other words, if you pass on the item, does it go into the dumpster? That’s the cold
hard truth for a lot of this stuff. Even if you part it out, that’s a better end to this radio
than a landfill. Yes, there are a *lot* more radios saved by virtue of eBay than there
might have been in years gone by. I’d bet that the percentage that ultimately are routed
to the dumpster is staggeringly high.
If indeed there is somebody next in line that is ready to go for option 1, let them take
a run at it. I *know* that I have way more “get to it real soon” projects than I can count.
Anything like this would be at the end of a pretty long line. I might *say* I’m headed for
option 2. In reality it’s an excuse to hang on to it and maybe do this or that ( likely not
a full restore) with it.
