[ARC5] Batteries That Do Not Corrode?

Hi Wayne:

I've had the best luck with EverReady.

There are many options when you get away from Alkaline batteries.
The LS91 AA is not water based and so is excellent for sub zero cold applications.
LiSO2, like in the BA-5590 uses SO2 gas compressed into a liquid. These have many decade shelf life.
Then there are Reserve batteries where the electrolyte is separate from the battery, for example Zinc-Air.
There are also cylindrical Li-Ion batteries in sizes close to the common batteries  you mentioned.  I haven't heard of
any of them corroding, but they might.

It all depends on what you're trying to do.
