This is cool. My question is: can we up-scale the thing and make it run at 800hz??

I can't wait to get one of these "Inverter Driver" boards.  Several suppliers at varying prices, but all cheap.

300W capacity.  Get a center-tapped transformer, drive it with one of these and away you go.  We got some cool toys these days.
