Sound like some kind of "common mode RF". Ground the radio and things should improve. If that doesn't help , wrap the power input wires through a torroid of reasonable sizeclose to the radio on both leads. A loop or two through a "sap on ferrite might work OK too.
How is the output loaded? maybe it's just radiating all over the place?
I dunno, just guessing, but there is too much RF coming from somewhere for sure...It's definitly fixable, you just have to find the source.
Happy hunting!

The only thing I am measuring with the ARC-114 fired up isthe voltage input to the transceiver from the power supply, the current input tothe transceiver from the power supply and perhaps the unregulated voltage inputto the regulator section of the power supply. I doubt using one Tektronix2236 scope would help since that would just do a better job of measuring theRF. A related problem is that if I position the "antenna"(alligator clip lead) in the wrong spot it drives the instrumentation in mybench power supply screwy, too, if I am using it. Thanks,
